Beginner classes are generally offered once a month. (Sign up online here). Classes generally use a the traditional Split Rail pattern. As part of this class you will learn about fabric and color selection, cutting (and cutting safety) using a rotary cutter, seam allowances and how to accurately piece, correct application of borders, various quilting/finishing methods, and binding.
You will need your own sewing machine and rotary cutter as part of this class. (additional necessary materials can be found on the class page linked above). Class cost is $50.

Sit and Sew Fridays are an open sew time for you to bring your latest project and have dedicated sewing time.
Do you find it hard to sew at home when the dishes, the laundry, and the vacuuming are all calling? Bring your machine and your latest project and set up in our back room to sew. We've got individual tables for everyone and cutting mats and ironing boards to share. If you need advice or help on your project we're here to answer all your questions, too!
Lunch from Panera is now included with your sign-up fee. You must register to join us for the Sit and Sew. (This allows us to help regulate and plan for the number of people in the back room). Please call 419-979-0218 to register. Cost is $15.
