Tucker Tools! They make my piecing look amazing

What's your favorite Bernina Machine, and why?
"That’s HARD!!! How do I pick just one? So I’m going to pick 2…the 790Pro and the L890. The 790Pro because it can do it all! Perfect stitch, multi-directional stitch, laser pinpoint sewing and embroidery and a large throat space for quilting and embroidery. The L890 Combo Machine because it not only has stitch by stitch precision but has a gorgeous chain stitch that is so much fun to play with!"

Favorite quilting or sewing project you've worked on?
I love foundation paper piecing, the tinier the project the better.

What inspired you to start quilting/sewing?
My great-aunt Helen who I adored was an accomplished seamstress and my mom made so many lovely outfits for me and her when I was little that I just couldn’t wait til I was “big” enough to sew. Once she let me on the machine I was obsessed!

What is your favorite part about working at Heavenly Stitches?
ALL OF IT! I LOVE Heavenly Stitches and I’m so very blessed to be the owner. This shop is my second home and I adore every nook and cranny of this place and the customers that enter.

What do you think sets Heavenly Stitches apart?
We are small but mighty! There is a lot of experience between our few employees and we love to share our knowledge and foster a community of caring.

What is your favorite class or workshop?
I don’t know if I can pick a favorite. I love having outside instructors come in to teach because I always learn something new!! What is life without learning??

How long have you been quilting or sewing?
Since I was about 9 or 10. My grandmother used to let me play on her treadle machine.

What is your favorite Product to use?
I love the all of the Studio 180 tools, especially the Lemoyne Star and Wedge Star rulers.

What's your favorite Bernina Machine, and why?
That's a hard question to answer since I have six of them. My Q20 I love for quilting, the 700E for embroidery and the 790 Plus for all my other sewing projects. Berninas do an excellent job no matter what my current project is. Some of my favorite features are the oversized bobbin, 9mm stitch width, pinpoint placement and so much more.

Favorite quilting or sewing project you've worked on?
Over the years our annual Block of the Month class has been one of my favorites. I love learning the new techniques and producing a beautiful quilt.

What inspired you to start quilting/sewing?
I learned to make my own clothing, outfits for my children and their doll clothes as a way to stay within our family budget. I made my first quilt as a shared project with my grandmother and was immediately addicted.

What is your favorite part about working at Heavenly Stitches?
Even though I have sewn and quilted my whole life, I have learned so much in the time I've worked here. There have been so many new techniques, new tools and types of projects to try. I've also enjoyed the friendships and connections that have been an important part of working here.

What do you think sets Heavenly Stitches apart?
Heavenly Stitches offers a wide variety of products and class experiences for our customers. There's something there for everyone, be it a sewing machine, fabric, notions, or learning experience.

What is your favorite class or workshop?
I'm relatively new to embroidery, so right now my favorites are all things embroidery related.

How long have you been quilting or sewing?
I’ve been sewing since I was 9 yrs old

What is your favorite Product to use?
Alex Anderson’s 4-1 Essential Sewing tool. I mostly use the seam ripper and the stiletto

What's your favorite Bernina Machine, and why?
My Bernina Serger gets quite the workout. I love the professional finished look and the added sturdiness to the seams

Favorite quilting or sewing project you've worked on?
Christmas gift projects are my favorite to work on. Every year I give homemade gifts. My favorite thing is thinking about the person I’m making the special gift for. It brings a smile to my face and love to my heart.

What inspired you to start quilting/sewing?
I originally just wanted more clothes for my barbie. Now I want clothes for myself that fit and are a reflection of me.

What is your favorite part about working at Heavenly Stitches?
Helping a person with their project and helping them find those perfect elements to bring it all together for them. To see their spark of creativity take off

What do you think sets Heavenly Stitches apart?
I want to work in my Happy Place… for a lot of people that is what Heavenly Stitches is… A happy place to come and create.

What is your favorite class or workshop?
The Canvas Rug Class. I had never made a rug before. The informal style of the rug and an imperfect technique was taught and encouraged. The more imperfect I tried to sew the more perfect my rug turned out!

How long have you been quilting or sewing?
I don’t quilt or sew, per se…I am the technician so I make sure to keep the sewing machines in good running order and I’m an expert at testing sew-outs!

What is your favorite Product to use?
Sewing machine oil

What's your favorite Bernina Machine, and why?
4/5/7 Series are my favorite to see on the bench. The B9 hook makes servicing a breeze. I have to admit that I have enjoyed restoring Chandra’s 1927 Bernina, it was the first Bernina with a zigzag AND an embroidery stitch!

Favorite quilting or sewing project you've worked on?
A pillow case. I don’t get out much. The girls are going to teach me to bind because I had a deer panel quilted and they say I have to finish it.

What inspired you to start quilting/sewing?
Since I don’t really enjoy “sewing” lets talk tech…I was out of work and being a sewing machine technician sounded cool so I pursued it and here I am, loving what I do every day!

What is your favorite part about working at Heavenly Stitches?
Ruby!!! I really enjoy having her as part of our day here at Heavenly Stitches. But seriously I do love what I do and I enjoy helping quilters/sewers out with any problem they are having with their machine. We all feel that it’s important to have a machine that works well, it makes creating a lot easier and stress free.

What do you think sets Heavenly Stitches apart?
Chandra’s vision and drive to make her dream come true.

What is your favorite class or workshop?
Any class where I get to go in assist with the machines.

How long have you been quilting or sewing?
I don’t get to sew. Mommy says I can’t because I don’t have thumbs. I have been coming to the shop since I was 5 weeks old, I love it here!

What is your favorite Product to use?
My antler and my ball! I love to show people my toys, sometimes someone kicks the ball for me and I get so happy!

What's your favorite Bernina Machine, and why?
I don’t really know what this means. But mommy uses this white thing on a table and it has a beautiful hum. It makes me sleepy.

Favorite quilting or sewing project you've worked on?
Mommy says I nap really well while everyone is creating.

What inspired you to start quilting/sewing?
I love greeting and watching everyone come here to create.

What is your favorite part about working at Heavenly Stitches?
I love it when “Pup-pup”, aka Scott, takes me out to play ball in the yard.

What do you think sets Heavenly Stitches apart?
ME! Not every quilt shop has a Ruby Tulula Star!

What is your favorite class or workshop?
All of them! The quilters love on me and I know I help relieve their stress.
