Meet Our Instructor!
Michele Blomgren
Michele says her love of sewing is in her DNA. She grew up watching both her grandmothers and her mother sew, As a young girl her favorite type of sewing was counted cross stitch ornaments for the Christmas tree. One weekend when she was home from college, she saw her mother's new sewing and embroidery machine. That's when the infatuation with machine embroidery started!
Michele and her mother operated their own home based embroidery business for several years. They embroidered items for the local baseball teams, cheerleading squads, preschool programs, and many individuals. Shortly after closing their embroidery business, Michele went to work for a multi-location machine dealer where she discovered her passion for teaching sewing and embroidery. When Michele was offered the opportunity to travel and share her love of embroidery she embraced it wholeheartedly.
Michele grew up, married, and raised four children in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. She still resides there where she enjoys spending time with her family, in her sewing studio, and gardening.
