Participants will gain valuable insight in how to approach construction with tips and techniques, choosing supplies for a polished a wearable finish, and what to consider in their own quilted garments. Elissa will share her own quilted garments and sneakers and the inspiration behind each, including how she thinks outside of the box for special finishing details. My favorite methods of sewing include foundation paper piecing, machine applique, and English paper piecing – detailed fussy cutting and precision work is where I put the love in my details. My creative style is bold, bright, & beautiful with a dash of over-the-top! I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of mixing endless color and loads of pattern in my creations. |
