Serger Christmas Stocking

Designed for advanced beginners with a working knowledge of serger operation, this class will guide you through a variety of decorative stitches, using overlock-only and combo overlock/coverstich machines.
Students will explore techniques such as flatlock ladders, reverse flatlocking, stacked coverstitching, chain stitching, pintucks, and serger fringe. This class will help you truly understand how to get the most out of your serger. You'll leave with improved skills, greater confidence, and a festive embellished stocking. Supply List:
(Required Supplies)
- Serger (4-thread overlock or combo overlock/coverstitch machine)
- 4 cones of serger thread
- 3 fat quarters
- 1/3 yard coordinating quilting cotton
- 3 spools decorative thread (12 weight recommended)
- (2) 90/14 serger needles
- Lightweight fusible interfacing
- 1/3 yard lightweight fusible fleece
- 6" ribbon for hanger
- Wash-away or heat-erase marking pen/chalk
